Welcome to my crockpot divas blog!! I've been talking about creating a blog to share stories and recipes from my "Crockpot Thursday" friends.

I always wonder, "who in the world has time to blog"?? Then here I am joining the bloggers of the world! :) I hope that through my daily...weekly...monthly entries you will find recipes, stories and scripture to share with your friends and family.

Crockpot Thursday started Oct. 2009. I decided to start using my crockpot to make dinner every Thursday. Then my friend Christi who comes over every Thursday to hang out brought her crockpot over, and then my sister started bringing her crockpot over and leaving it while she went to school. Pretty soon I offered to bring my son's teachers crockpot home for her each week. More friends started bringing crockpots over and joining in on the fellowship and yummy recipes. Some days there are five crockpots other days there are just mine and one other.
Every week I decide on a recipe from various sources which I will share those resources and recipe each week. I usually send via TEXT the items needed for that weeks crockpot recipe on Monday or Tuesday. Everyone brings items and their (knee-biters, a.k.a. kiddos) to my house and we put all the stuff together. Lots of laughter and NOISE as the moms assembly in the kitchen and kiddos run around the playroom.

I have been so blessed by the conversations and yummy food each Thursday!!

No promises, but I will post recipe each Monday or Tuesday. And then post thought and opinions about how we liked the recipe a few days If you have a recipe for the crockpot that you'd like to share...PLEASE, send it our way. If you try the recipe let us know how you liked it also.
Recipe This week:
